Still have a lot of the smaller dones to recycle after the larger options are up and running. The primary reason for recycling the smaller domes and utilities is for efficiency and this helps make the settlement smaller. Flat land is often too small to have domes and utilities spread out, creating a huge footprint. Many smaller domes also makes it harder for your colonist to move quickly from work to canteen and sleeping quarters. The bigger domes reduce travel time and if the arrangement is better than usual, using an good floor plan, more is done in less time. Part of the reason I try to cluster the biodomes, canteens, and bunk beds. Another cluster would be the mine, production, engineer facilities, and robotic dome. Where ever the workers are I will want a medical bay, called a sickbay in the game since those working the mines are often injured. The lab needs to be close and attached to the biodome whenever possible.
