[Armored Core 6] Boosted recoil effect
When firing high recoil weapons with a tank leg while falling, the recoil will reset the fall speed. Boosting up afterwards exhibits a stronger recoil effect.
A boosted recoil if you will.
Said effect is likely just regular up thrust that is more pronounced due to not needing to counter downward acceleration. I don't think the recoil and up thrust compound in any way.
Tetrapods can use heavy recoil arm weapons to achieve the same effect. It is rather moot though as tetrapods don't struggle with gravitational pull to begin with.
In the same vein, most melee attacks will also cancel fall speed but at the cost of resetting the EN recovery/resupply timer; Limiting the potential to stall descend when energy is depleted.
I'd like to think that it gives tank legs some extra vertical mobility, but I'm not versed enough in the art of tank movement to justify that.
