The champion of the ARMS Grand Prix is here to test out his power, it is Max Brass, known as the Commonish. He is a heavyweight character with some very powerful moves, and while he is usually the final opponent in the ARMS Grand Prix, this time he takes on the Grand Prix to prove himself as the ARMS champion.
Max Brass can charge up his punches, which will make him larger, allowing him to resist being knocked down, and he will also gain super armour. Like Spring Man, when Max Brass's health is below 25%, he will be automatically powered up, making his ARMS permanently charged, and for being a heavyweight, he is a very fearsome opponent when powered up.
He starts with Nade, Roaster, and Kablammer for his starting ARMS, Nade is a Glove type ARMS of the Explosion attribute, it is the slowest Glove type ARMS, but deals the most damage out of any of them. Roaster is another Glove type ARMS, but this one has the Fire attribute, so it is a copy of Spring Man's Toaster, and Kablammer is a Hammer type ARMS of the Explosion attribute, while powerful, it can backfire, as that is usually one way to take advantage of Max Brass as an opponent, because two of his default ARMS have the Explosion attribute.
While Max Brass is all about fighting up close and pressuring his opponents, some recommended ARMS on the ARMS Institute site include his default Nade and Roaster, and Ninjara's Chakram, those are some of the possible ARMS to help in fights.
Max Brass's home stage is Sky Arena, but as this is the final stage in the ARMS Grand Prix, your first opponent will always be fought in Spring Stadium, and I don't know if it will always be Spring Man or any other character. Sky Arena is a stadium with no obstacles, so it is a battlefield where it is about skill, this stage fits well with Max Brass. Another thing is that Max Brass will fight against Max Brass in the final round, so it will not be another random character.
As for Max Brass's odds of being a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, he would be one of the heaviest characters in the game, and I could see him powering up if he has taken 100% damage, so he would be a high risk reward character. While Max Brass is the head of the ARMS League, he does seem to be an important character in ARMS, but I will wait till we find out which character does end up in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
