Artel W: Bubalus and the Iron Father!
80No it's not a weird sitcom setup, just some random Artel W models that showed up in the mail recently.
As always the case with Artel W's sculpts, they are quite crisp and in need of very little cleaning. If you've never built resin figures before, this is a great place to start, although you will be a bit spoiled when dealer with other manufacturers!
Bubalus is part of the Manhunter Cult, and if you know your Necromunda you should have a pretty good idea of who they represent. Even better, as I post this video a handful of new Cult members have just shown up on the store as well- good timing!
I take beef with the very Orlock- looking guy about to get smushed under his feet, but Bubalus is a unique looking model. Definitely the type that is upper crust hive dweller and probably slumming it down below. Very Juggernaut like proportions as well...
The Iron Father is a big Primarch- like model. Of similar stature to Artel's Red Angel model who also shows up in this video, he has a few hand and face options that dont' amount to much, but are a nice gesture. Naturally I had to go with more guns. Why would you go with less?
His pose is a bit more static than the Red Angel, but I can imagine him standing their solemnly mowing down waves of peons in boredom with the artillery he's packing.
I forget where the little bonus guy came from. Christmas? Or New Years? Or some other holiday I forgot? It dawned on me the cookies are in the shape of the various 40k races!
