Hi friends!

Today I want to talk to you about going back to making art after taking a break.

I believe this video is relevant to any artist in any field: visual artists, musicians, performing artists etc.

I recorded this after taking a week-long break from painting. This may not sound like a long break, but when you're used to making 4-5 paintings per day, EVERY day, including the weekends - it's a lot!

But your break may be longer or shorter.

In any case, don't assume you'll become rusty or anything like that. In my experience, here are the 3 main things that can happen:

1. You feel rusty.
2. You feel even more energized or creative.
3. You feel the same.

I felt rusty. I "powered" through it by dropping / postponing my judgment of the result, and simply accepting whatever I created.

I also got on a painting spree of about 5 hours straight.

I hope you enjoyed the video and maybe gained a new perspective on this topic.

Feel free to drop any questions you may have in a comment below, and I'll talk to you soon! (:

- Liron
