Hi friends! Welcome to episode 5 of The Paint Show!

In this episode I'll cover the Sap Green 15ml tube, by Daniel Smith!

I personally love Sap Green, and have so many uses for it. It's my go-to green. I don't believe you need more than one green, and it's easy to turn it into a warmer or cooler green, by simply mixing.

If you add a little Phthalo Blue you get something really close to viridian, for example. And by adding New Gamboge, you can get a nice olive-ish green.

*** Here are some of the nerd stats: ***

Pigments and color codes:
1. Quinacridone Gold (PO48, Cl #73900/73920)
2. Nickel Azo Yellow (PY150, Cl #12764)
3. Phtalocyanine Green (PG7, Cl #74260).

Series 2 - a little more pricey
Excellent lightfastness (NOTE - this is according to Daniel Smith's internal rating, not ASTM. Still probably reliable)
Transparent
Granulating
Medium level of staining

I hope you enjoyed this video, and I'll see you in another one, soon! (:

- Liron
