These are my impressions of Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

If you're into the Assassin's Creed formula, general exploration or exploring the various types of different activities on the massive map, along with a narrative focused story, you're going to like it. This would be a buy rather than a rental since it is a very long game. Exception would be if you're devoting dozens of hours to playing it over the holidays.

For everybody else, the poor AI, simple gameplay, repetitive exploration, overall length and time it takes to get going means you'll likely get sick of it dozens of hours before you finish it.
