So this is something I've kind of been thinking about for a while... and honestly, though I was somewhat confident it would be possible... I wasn't absolutely positive. ^^;

The main issue, of course, is... if you don't pick up any of the Powerups... that means Liquorice is free to grab them all. Which can definitely cause some... problems. ^^;;

On the plus side, knocking her down (which thankfully is a lot easier in VPC1 than in VPC4!) will get rid of her Accelerate and Firepower... so really, Shutdown becomes the biggest concern (you move slower, and she gets invulnerability!). Oh, and batteries, of course. =)

Anyway, I did some test runs... and after getting to the Liquorice battle a few times... even though things went badly, it definitely seemed like it could be possible... ^^ So I spent some time figuring out a better "no Powerups" opening strategy for the stage (to make it easier to get back to Liquorice more consistently)... and eventually figured out the strategy I used in this video.

After that... well, it definitely took more than a few tries, but eventually, this run happened! =)

So anyway, here it is... my first ever "no Powerups used" Collider S+! Hope you enjoy!
