So I was trying some 0-gold Nocturna speedruns again... and unfortunately, it kind of seemed like every promising run I had... was ending badly due to a careless mistake. ^^;
And sure enough, this run started out basically following the same pattern. =p
A 1-1 Map and a 1-2 Ring of Frost! =) ...followed by a 1-3 careless mistake that got Nocturna surrounded by gold. Ah well, so much for the speedrun. =p
...and then I remembered the Bomb Spell. =) ...after having wasted about half a minute. ^^;
Anyway... long story short, I definitely didn't play as well as I would've liked to throughout this run, and definitely made some further careless mistakes (including getting surrounded by gold again!)... so I definitely wasn't expecting a speedrun-worthy time, if I did manage to make it to the end...
But as it turned out, the Map and Ring actually helped quite a lot with speed... and so I somehow ended up with my first ever 0-gold Nocturna sub-15 win! ^.^;

0:53 Map & Heart Transplant (activate!).
- Also, whoops, could've gotten Cheese as well, but was in a hurry and placed the bomb in the wrong spot. =p
0:59 Transform! ...for damage immunity on that beat, since the Cutlass won't protect against dragonbreath. ^^;

1:33 Ring of Uncertainty! In a 0-gold run, this is a bit of a risk, since both Gold and Courage are possibilities... but it's early enough in the run that having to restart wouldn't be too big a loss, so... ^^

14:46 "You won! Coin Score: 0" Oh wow! 14:30, really?? With all the careless mistakes throughout, I'd really been expecting something closer to 16 than 14 and a half, but... I guess the Ring of Frost really did help a lot! =) So... yay, my first ever 0-gold sub-15 Nocturna win! =)
14:53 ...whoops, accidentally selected Quick Restart. Heh, still thinking too much about the sub-15, and not enough about the recording, I guess. ^_^
