Assault Android Cactus was updated yesterday! =)

Among the other additions and changes (most of which have already appeared in the PS4 version of the game): Unlockable alternate costumes/skins! =)

Every character now has a shiny metallic skin based on her identifying color (green for Cactus, purple for Aubergine, etc.). In addition, Peanut has a second costume (which I'm sure Sarah Sharpie is happy is finally in the game!). =)

Yep, it's a unicorn costume (hat)... appropriately enough, for the character who has only one horn. ^^

Oh, and for those of you wondering why Peanut's the only character who got a hat... apparently, Sycle (the artist and programmer) did have other hats (for other characters) in mind, but simply ran out of time before the PS4 release. Ah well. ^^;


Anyway, the Unicorn costume was the first alternate costume I tried. I played against Medulla, because I was somewhat curious as to whether the alternate costume would show up in the ending movie.

It does. =)

Oh, and I finally got around to doing some quick testing on the unlock conditions for the alternate costumes! Based on what I've seen so far, I think these are the unlock conditions:
- To unlock a character's shiny metallic skin, you must complete all 25 Campaign levels with that character.
- To unlock Peanut's unicorn costume, you must complete all 25 Campaign levels with an S+ Rank ("Assault Android Awesome"). You can use any character or combination of characters to do this; you don't have to use Peanut... but you can if you want to!
