Cavalcadence plays Story Mode - Part 2: Melody
For anybody who's interested in custom Cadences (or other characters), the official NecroDancer FAQ has some info about creating custom characters, and even has a link to the pinned thread on the official forums, where people have posted some of their custom creations:

So... a little while ago, as a little break from Cadence Low Percent attempts, I thought I'd try out NecroDancer's "Story Mode"... which perhaps should've been called something slightly different, since calling it "Story Mode" does kind of make it sound like that's the mode you're "supposed to" play (in most games, that's basically what "Story Mode" is). ^^;;
In NecroDancer, though, Story Mode (which can be found in the "Character Select" room) is actually more like a challenge mode... where you're challenged to play through Cadence All Zones, Melody All Zones, and Aria All Zones (i.e. the three characters that tell the main NecroDancer story)... in that order, in one run, without dying (so if Aria dies, you have to start completely over, starting with Cadence). So it's basically a "play through the complete story without dying" challenge mode. ^^;
Anyway, it took quite a number of tries, but I did finally manage to complete Story Mode. =) When playing Story Mode, I seemed to get the best results when I stuck with a "slow and steady" strategy... and in this run, that's basically what I did. =)
So here it is... my first ever Story Mode win! This video covers Part 2 (Melody)... hope you enjoy!
The mini-bosses and bosses Melody encountered during this run were:
Zone 1: Green Dragon, Gray Minotaur, Red Dragon, and King Conga 1.
Zone 2: Gray Minotaur, Red Dragon, Gray Minotaur, and Coral Riff 2.
Zone 3: Blue Dragon, Gray Direbat, Blood Nightmare, and Death Metal 3.
Zone 4: Red Dragon, Ogre, Green Banshee, and The NecroDancer 2.

23:50 Rather than go after the Charm of Luck, I decided to let the bounce trap do its job. Even when it ends up on the same tile, the Leprechaun does drop gold every time it bounces off a bounce trap, so if you can get a Leprechaun stuck on one, you can just wait for the Leprechaun to go away, and it'll leave behind a huge pile of gold (200 Gold in this case)!
