On this episode of Assemble, we are going to be giving you the rundown of Phase Three of the MCU. Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor:Ragnarok, and Black Panther are all part of this phase. Of course, this phase is ongoing, and we will be seeing Avengers: Infinity War and Ant Man and the Wasp coming to theaters this year.
Phase Three starts off with a bang with Captain America: Civil War. This film is arguably the most important one in Phase Three that we have seen so far. The Avengers are divided on the issue of the Sokovia Accords, and there is plenty of drama that will need to be addressed before the team can unite to take down the threat in Infinity War.
New Characters, New Infinity Stones, and More.
This phase includes the story of Doctor Steven Strange, astound surgeon that is forced to learn the mystical arts. It also introduces us to Spider-Man in this universe, as a well established neighborhood vigilante. We get to see Thor, Banner, and The Guardians of the Galaxy in new stories since Phase 2. Finally, we also get closer to the Infinity War.
