Welcome back everybody! To Let's play ASTRONEER gameplay, part 7. In the previous episode of ASTRONEER we started to build the space ship! The space ship is bigger version of the shuttle we can use to travel between planets but become its bigger it can store more fuel and more resources if we build on the space ship the storage module from the vehicle assembly. When it comes to fuel it’s a bit more completed then powering up a land vehicle such as rover or truck. The space ship needs actual fuel called hydrazine. Hydrazine can produced only at the fuel converter having a good supply of batteries and solar panels on the starting planet of ASTRONEER we can produce almost unlimited amounts of hydrazine. Lucky for us we also started the first episode of ASTRONEER near a wreck of a satellite that we can connect ot the rest of the base using the cables and land vehicle and will grand us even more power production from sun energy. With the space ship fueled we can start our first space adventure of ASTRONEER! On the starting planet we can find the moon that will be our first stop to test the possibilities of flying in space in ASTRONEER. However keep in mind the travel is limited, the space ship have a limit of what distance he can travel in one go. That means sometimes you will have to jump from plane to planet or wait the destination planet will be in range as the planets in ASTRONEER actually travel around the sun. After lading on the moon we should remember that the gravity here is a bit lower then on the planet so jumping will be way higher then normally, this may also occurs on some of the planets in ASTRONEER. The resources that normally can be found underground on the starting planet, on the moon in ASTRONEER are just on the surface! Resources such as Adamentium are just outside our landing spot. There are also large clusters of research items we can take back to the laboratory module back on the planet in the main base. Another rare material we can find on the moon is titanium. However titanium can’t be just mined like resin or other materials with the terraforming tool. We need to have a device and a vehicle such as a land vehicle with the crane and the drill head – that will help us mine resources that spawned on a solid rock and can’t be mined with the tool alone, however building a mini base on the moon may take some time as we need to take almost all of the resources from the planet for starting building a base are not presented on the moon.
The reasearch we found from the moon are related a bit to the moon itself. Such as said drill head, that is used for advance mining minerals in ASTRONEER.
The research items from the moon are a bit different from the planet but right now they don’t yeld too much different researches, most of the time we can materials however structures such as winch that I don’t exactly know yet what is for but its good to have for any new adventure we will soon have in ASTRONEER as the space travel is now unlocked for us some of the planets may be more hostile then the starting planet. It appears the moon is suppose to give us more research but theos are simply not present yet in ASTRONEER.
