Welcome back everybody! To Let's play Tyranny, part 6. We are back at the scarlet camp! And if there is one thing I have learned from the previous episodes of Tyranny is that if we enter a new camp we should just go through all the boxes and chests there are not guarded. Remember that the scarlet remember only the strong! You have to earn your position here otherwise you may just get throwed around left right and center – each fraction in Tyranny will work in a bit different way so we need to adapt. We don’t only find food and potions around the camp but some weak weapons aswell but something more important a scroll and from scrolls in Tyranny we can learn more powerful spells tho I belive at the beginning of Path of The Damned, it where will be hardly any useful spells. As a a battle mage we have the required lore skill of 32 to read the scroll and with it we can learn a new Sigil, Sigil of illusion we can also try to learn all of the sigils in Tyranny at some point. This combining the sigil with the cores we can crate new spells such as Spectral Blur that we can assain to the main character if You play as a mage to give him more dodge stats. Our main quest in the scarlet camp is to help them prepare for the coming battle – first we need to learn a bit more of the citadel. Varah Kel is a prisoner from the Vandarian Guard we can use our ability skills if we have made a good character in Tyranny at the beginning. To convince her to tell us all we need to know about the defences and the soldiers of the Vandarian Guard. We can also help her join the scarlet chorus for some bonus favor points. After that we will also right away receive a new quest… from another prisoner Lantry. Lantry is a scribe that can join our party. He is not only a well read person but also he can serve the party as a haler that we desperately need at the moment of our gameplay in Path of The Damned! But he comes by a prise. We can or try to fight our way to get him join the party and order the scarlet chorus to back off or we can do it the more badass way. Tyranny is a game of role playing, here we stand as a judge. Our word is the law of Kyros the overlord in Tyranny and everybody who technically oppose the fatebinder will oppose the will of Kyros. Even the second in command in both the Scarlet chorus and the disfavored won’t dare to stand and stop our word! And its better to talk our way at the start of Path of The Damned. Force fifth eye in to submission just as they do with the prisoners of the scarlet chorus in Tyranny. They will listen as the word of the stronger is always right. At some point during our advance in Tyranny we need to start to think about good build for each of our characters in the party. Barik for sure will be the tank while Lantry will focus on healing and supporting. Damge delivering will be focused on the remaining two heros.
From side quest we can find one in the scarlet camp by talking to Death Knell we can get a new quest “way of the Horde” We need to travel to the remote settlement for new volunteers for the Scarlet horde. The Horde in Tyranny is dedicated to the archon of secrets but I don’t honestly they join willingly and as a battle mage of Tumons I prefer quality over quantity.
