In which I play "Night Strike!", published in 1983 by TG Software, and programmed by A.Y. Kobayashi. It didn't take me long to get to grips with the game. The premise is simple - defend your territory from sky-borne attackers of various sorts. You drive a tank which can fire rapidly and even occasionally fires a sort of flare or shrapnel shell, although I wasn't able to work out if that could be done deliberately or not.
Once I got the hang of it, I found myself enjoying the game. So, I recommend you fire this up, give yourself a little while to get used to it, and then have fun blowing things out of the sky and avoiding being blowed up real good in return.
