Atari Combat Multiplayer: Part 2
15Part two of two of a handful of multiplayer battles in Combat for the Atari 2600. Surprisingly, Combat has a pretty large number of gameplay options for such and early game. In this part, the tanks are traded in for airplane as the battle takes to the skies.
In Round One, the red airplane (MacDaddyNook) and green airplane (Duck) fly about a simple map in attempts to shoot each other down. In the center of the map are two round clouds in which the airplanes can hide behind briefly, although they are perpetually moving forward.
In Round Two, and the final round, the airplanes double as now each player is armed with two airplanes which provide double the firepower, but are now also doubly vulnerable to enemy fire.
