You bet I got a copyright claim on this one. But it's still letting me upload it, so it's okay. Not pushing my luck with the 2 movie lyrical songs though, in fact I didn't include any of the 5 lyrical songs because I wanted this video to be insutrumental only. And nobody needs to hear "A New Day is Dawning" again.
Anyway, we start with the recognisable instrumental of "Under The Sea", a good remix by Shimomura for the field theme in KH1 and Chain of Memories. Of course, after a while swimming (or running in CoM's case) around Atlantica this theme can get a little tiresome.
"An Adventure in Atlantica" is the combat theme, as you'd expect from KH1 world battle themes it's bouncy and fun and good stuff. I quite like what Re:CoM does with this track as well. I don't know why 1.5 makes the first brass hit a little different (06:10), listen to how the note ascends at the end instead of descending. (compare to 03:38) It goes back to normal in the second half of the song. And then there's a fun new arrangement in KH3 for the Ariel link summon. This song has put me in the summer mood, a shame it's February at the time of uploading this...
After all that excitement is KH2's field theme (for 2 rooms and cutscenes) which is named "Isn't It Lovely?". It's as though the song is asking a rhetorical question about itself. But yes, it is very lovely. Shades of the gummi theme "Floating in Bliss" here, which makes sense, that's the water level gummi routes music.
Since I'm not including the lyrical songs I've compensated by ending with "Let's Sing and Dance!" which is an instrumental short version of "Swim This Way" and acts as a tutorial to the music minigame. I never noticed the female backing vocals on this before, even when hearing it a million times playing the music randomizer. They're more prominent on the remix.
