- Notes -
So the main thing to mention here is my ordering. "Hollow Bastion", "Reviving Hollow Bastion" and "Radiant Garden" all have different tempos and sounds. At first I had everything in release order, but it didn't flow well jumping between these 3, so I separated them. I think it works better like this, get all of the dark Hollow Bastion themes done first and then move onto the rebuilt/former glory versions. I particularly like the Re:CoM version. Re Mind's Radiant Garden feels like a natural succesor to KH2's "Reviving Hollow Bastion", definitely an interesting take. Oh, and I have to say the transition from KH2.5 to BBS was so cool to have.

Scherzo Di Notte, the battle theme, was easier. I just put these in release order with the exception of BBS' Black Garden, which I placed after Re:Coded because I wanted the two coded themes to sit next to each other for better flow. I like having the remix versions at the end in this case, to show how the themes evolved into the modern orchestrations. Scherzo doesn't vary as much as the field themes so the order here didn't matter so much. Re:coded's version sounds almost comical.

There are probably plenty of ways you could order a video like this - strictly release order, game chronology order etc. I just look at what I have and decide what works best for the flow.

Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden has some of the coolest music in the series and here we can see how different it can sound depending on game. Dark and sinister to proud and majestic.
