After getting hit with some debilitating radiation poisoning (that continues to hinder any means of combat in this episode), our hero decides to find out who the insider is and takes up an offer from the mayor to become a mole. Upon meeting with the bandits, we discover they have the missing drunk and miraculously spare him following a beating. One job involving a group of dead brothers and a vengeful father leads to a scouting mission in an anomaly filled forest. It would have gone better if I had some rope, but to save time, we see if gravity can be cheated and discover that physics don't change when the world goes to hell.

I was tempted several times to just restart with a fresh character after losing myself to radiation poisoning, but I wanted to stick with it to show how important it is too choose the starting stats carefully. The content provided falls off following the forest mission which means the current story offerings are rather slim. There are other side missions in the nearby big city, but you are forced to trek over to it with the chance of being sent into unwinnable battles to bandits equipped to the teeth. It isn't a terrible experience, per say, but it could use a little more tweaking in terms of difficulty and in the economy. For now though, I don't feel I can recommend it, even if you are getting tired of Wasteland 2.
