Atomic Point - 1990 - Arcade - Shortplay | 4K CRT Monitor Simulation
Shortplay + Attract mode of the game Atomic Point, the puzzle arcade game by Philko.
GAME INFO:
Atomic Point was produced by Philko in 1990. Philko released 7 different machines in arcade-museum.com database under this trade name, starting in 1988. Other machines made by Philko during the time period Atomic Point was produced include Lock On, Twin Falcons, Whizz, Xyonix, Dyger, and Turtle Ship.
In this puzzle game, a collection of colored blocks appears on the screen along with 2 glowing diamonds. Single colored blocks fall from the top of the playfield and your task is to complete a horizontal row on the same level that each flashing diamond appears.
GAME RECORDING INFO:
The game has been integer scaled to 4k, without bi-linear filtering, and retaining the original aspect ratio (display aspect ratio, not internal resolution). And captured using a filter that simulates the image of a CRT monitor. I also use a image of arcade machines as a bezel above the game, to create a nostalgic atmosphere.
