It's ATTACK OF THE INDIES! I think we're going to fill gaps of content with Indie games that are easy to showcase and beat, and help bolster the indie gaming scene. This stream was spent playing two FANTASTIC indies that just hit the market: Spiritfarer from Thunder Lotus and INMOST from Chucklefish Games! Both games tackle topics like mental health, coming to terms with life decision and changes, death, and the afterlife.
Spiritfarer takes the route of doing this in a cheery, boat building sim where you pick up stray spirits, keep them as company and indulge their favorite foods and hobbies before they leave the plane.
INMOST despite it's cutesie pixelated style, goes into a much deeper story and breakdown about dealing with suicide and mental health. We actually beat this on stream and there were a LOT of tears, as the story ends on a touching and loving note with an important message about mental health and self care.
They just released and together can be purchased for a total of $45 (Spiritfarer $30 / INMOST $15).
