In this tutorial, or demonstration build, I will show how to make automated farms with RotaryCraft. The central part is the Fan, all other (RotaryCraft) blocks in the video are covered in other tutorials:

I don't rate this video as a part of my RotaryCraft tutorial series, since it is has quite a few other mods involved, but the RotaryCraft Fan is perhaps new if you are a follower of the series :)

The Magical Crops in this video provides me with the essence required to automate farms for Ender Pearls, Diamonds, Emeralds, and other useful things. However, due to the slow outcome (you need to harvest 8 "Ender Plants" to get one Ender Pearl), these farms are perhaps more useful on a server than in a single player world due to slow outcome.

To do the pickups, you can use vanilla Hoppers, or any of your choice from another modpack. I have tried with Obsidian Transport Pipes and Vacuum Hoppers. Applied Energistics also have ways to pick up items.
