Description:
A millennium ago, the Ancients summoned the Armies of Darkness to ravage the word, but the Goddess and her heroes defeated them and sealed them away. Three months ago, the demons got unsealed anyways and killed many people in Keld Village. Two of the residents, Selena and Shirley, plan on going into the Ruins of Elendia to do something about the demons, but it's possible for one of them to get corrupted along the way.

Sadly, I missed a few achievements, like the one for helping animals, the assassin sparing achievement, the dream where Selena meets her father, and last but not least, the 2100 DA achievement.
0:00 Attempting to Enter the Abyss
1:05 Boss: Cerberus
In their complete state, they are powerful and invincible, so have Selena taunt with a shield. Once they split, you'll notice one of the dogs is immune to physicals and one is immune to magic. Despite that, you're supposed to kill them near simultaneously, or they will revive each other with attack buffs.
11:33 Abyss
To the north is the final boss. To the east is the Holy Sword portal maze. Unfortunately, Shirley cannot cross the portals without accumulating corruption. You can send Selena in alone, but she won't be able to beat the boss guarding the sword due to her lack of magic. She can still loot the chests though.
Unlike me, make sure to grind Greater Soul Essence from the ghost enemies if you're not going for the 2100 DA achievement.
With this, I have no choice but to try to beat the final boss.
17:13 Boss: Avatar of Darkness (No corruption)
This attempt is really rough because I had no idea how the shield worked, but I got the hang of it in later rounds against her.
The Shield of Darkness completely negates physical attacks, but magic from Shirley and summoned spirits will get damage it. If the shield stays up for too long, the boss will cast a HP-to-1 skill.
As the Avatar takes damage, she will summon weaker versions of past corrupted bosses. Fortunately, this doesn't include the RNG assassin. When she's near death, she'll review all KOed corrupted, but at this point, you may be better off focusing your DPS on her, since the corrupted army will die with her.

The sisters return to the village and travel together on a ship.
43:49 Corruption via Portals
The final Abyss portal will fully corrupt Shirley, no questions asked.
48:47 Boss: Chosen One Subject XIV
The minions maintain a shield on the boss, but they can only be hurt by magic.

I had to reload because of a glitch concerning Abyss portal usage and Dark Sanctuary events. Hope it gets patched.
As you expand the DS, you get scenes showing how Shirley's father was killed by the corrupted King Valimur. Selena tried to confront the king, but got fatally injured, forcing Shirley to learn dark magic to save her.
Eventually, Valimur shows up, stating that the DS is shared rather than individual.

The memory crystals now show Shirley as the Avatar of Darkness originally summoned by Valimur.

They can't corrupt Shirley further, but it turns out certain mobs will not initiate combat if Shirley is fully corrupted.

The avatar will absorb Shirley!

Selena's new holy powers make this easy.

Shirley stays home to research the Darkness while Selena journeys alone.

It's the same as Almost Full Corruption, except the Avatar doesn't try to absorb Shirley

This time, you have to guard and heal until Shirley breaks free. This isn't an option if you have the Holy Sword.
