Awesome Desktop Arcade Machines That ACCEPT CARTRIDGES!?!?! WHAT!?!?
38If you are a fan of desktop arcade machines and love the Evercade Library, then hold onto your hats because the team at Evercade just announced two amazing machines you'll want to check out. And not only are there 2 new arcade-style machines, but these machines accept cartridges? That's right, let's take a look at the Evercade Alpha Street Fighter and Alpha MegaMan Bartop Arcade machines.
There are currently 2 different themed units with games officially licensed by Capcom. Each system features 6 preinstalled games on them. The first unit is themed after Street Fighter II Champion Edition and features:

In addition to the pre-installed games, one of the really fun parts of these Barcade machines is the fact that you can play Evercade Cartridges. It also has Wi-Fi compatibility, this way you should be able to download updates and potentially the monthly game demos. Much like the Evercade VS Home Console, there are 2 Cartridge Slots for you to swap between more games easily.
The unit itself is pretty awesome. It features a backlit marquee and even includes 3 different marquees in the box. It also has Stereo Speakers, a headphone jack, 2-USB Controller ports, 8" 4:3 aspect ratio display, and what they call Competition-grade arcade controls. I didn't know what these were, but looking at the product page it appears these are from Sanwa, so they should be clicky and precise.
