Axie Infinity might RECOVER if 3 THINGS HAPPEN!
17Axie Infinity just got some new updates, like the runes and charms, which are the desperately needed $SLP sinks. But what else could help the NFT Gaming King to get back on its feet economically?
First, we have to look at a few facts.
$SLP, $AXS, $RON, Land NFTs, and Axie NFTs ALL lost most of their value!
Axie's player base also took a huge hit. It dropped from almost 3M players to 700k monthly active players.
But now we finally have Runes and Charms, which are NFTs, which are going to be crafted by burning $SLP and Moon Shards.
To begin with, this $SLP sink mechanism won't be as efficient next season, because people are going to get back a portion of the $SLP they've used and these NFTs won't be usable next season.
It's definitely a good addition to Axie Infinity's economy, but In my opinion, not enough. We'll need more than that and it will take a long time for Axie to get up on its feet.
Just think about how many people have been accumulating $SLP over the last year where there was 4 times more $SLP being minted than burned in some months...
But if they could add other features like a mechanism to burn Axies for example, that would be huge for Axie's economy!
Another needed feature is another $SLP sink... If Axie's team could integrate $SLP in land gameplay and the mini-games players are building it would affect positively a lot Axie Infinity.
Last but not least, why isn't Axie registered on a mobile store?
Thetan Arena got 10M downloads from it. What's Axie waiting for?
Those 3 things would definitely help a lot Axie to get back on its feet and could bring it back from the grave!
