So we've got an abandoned warehouse to infiltrate now. And this place is dark. Like pitch black dark. We have to make our way down to the bottom, lighting up the way as we do. We can light up the area around us with our flashfield, but the main thing e're looking for are these switches that we can zap to light the area up. Although doing so also seems to bring to life these zombies scattered throughout the area, Getting in contact with them will instantly drain you of your EP, and the ones hanging from the ceiling will cover the screen in goop if they fall to the floor, very annoying enemies to deal with. At the end, we find a girl, most likely shaken from whatever transpired here. We escort her past a hexaphyle, but she freaks out soon after. Turns out, she's another adept, who's got a case of the Gemini Man's and splits into two.

So Elise's thing is the fact that there are two of them you have to focus on, each with their own health, similar to Argoyle and Ugoyle in ZX Advent. Their main method of attack is throwing daggers at you that turn into snakes, which is easily stopped by your Flashfield. They will also switch sides every now and then, one moving across the top, the other moving across the bottom, so you'll have to jump between them. They also have a move called Gorgon's Gaze, where they shine lights in front of them. If you face the one currently shining her gaze at you, you will be turned to stone and drained of your EP, in which they will follow up with a flurry of daggers. The big thing to worry about is their Special, Resurrection. If you take out one of them, the other will revive her with a third of her health back, so naturally you have to take them both out simultaneously, or at least fast enough so that they don't get revived.

Once we return home, our rest is quickly interrupted by a resurrected Merak, who kidnaps Joule. This immediately knocks us into the next stage, which we'll see next time. __
