As promised, a showcase of how messed up Fast Racing Neo's AI is. In this video, I beat the Iridium Cup in the Hypersonic league with much better times than in the video of the actual challenge (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXDFqXtpk2o), yet the AI still seems to be right behind me at the end of every race and I even get 4th in Mori Park despite being around 2 1/2 seconds faster than in the successful take.

Just so you can compare how bad the rubberbanding is, I have compiled the times for every race of me in this vid, the previous vid, the AI in this vid, and as a special bonus the developers' times depicted in time attack mode.

This attempt's times:

Pyramid Valley: 01:31.832
Iceland: 02:21.465
Mori Park: 01:54.548
New Zendling: 01:29.799

The previous vid's times (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXDFqXtpk2o):

Pyramid Valley: 01:33.315
Iceland: 02:27.764
Mori Park: 01:56.982
New Zendling: 01:31.282

The times of this attempt's best-ranking AI:

Pyramid Valley: 01:32.461
Iceland: 02:22.094
Mori Park: 01:53.165
New Zendling: 01:31.132

Shin'en developers' times in time attack (sorry for them being blurry in the vid):

Pyramid Valley: 01:41.582
Iceland: 02:28.063
Mori Park: 01:59.464
New Zendling: 01:33.049

What conclusions can we derive from this? For once, it is pretty clear that better times do not equal better rankings. This attempt's times are much better on every single track than the previous vid's times. However, I still got 4th on Mori Park in this attempt with a better time than the one from the previous vid, although the latter, worse time got me 1st in the previous vid.

It even gets worse when you compare the times from the previous vid (again, where I got 1st in every race) to this attempt's best-ranking AI: the AI in this attempt has better times in every single race than I had in the previous vid. This means that if I had driven against this vid's AI in the previous vid, I would not have placed 1st in any race!

And to add insult to injury, the developer's times in time attack are the worst times in this entire comparison. That means that the developers wouldn't have been able to reach a first place against this vid's AI in any of the tracks of Iridium Cup. Also keep in mind that time attack offers the possibility to achieve much better times than Championship mode since there is no AI to ram into you or steal orbs from you, and since the orbs in time attack net you more boost energy than the orbs do in Championship mode when you're placed somewhere at the front (where you need to be most of the time if you want to have a chance to place 1st). Still, Shin'en's devs weren't able to beat their own cheating AI despite having all the advantages on their side.

Sorry guys, but if you can't even beat the AI at your own game, you know something is wrong. I am aware that not all of the AI's times are accurate since the game just gives them better times sometimes despite the AI being far behind you, but still, the data speaks not in your favor.
