Immediate shoutout to AdelheidJS who has somehow cast a spell on me and made me record this long overdue video the day after he showed concern about it and me. Check his awesome stuff out:

There is so much potential stuff to say despite this level having so little new things. In case you don't want to read my personal story with this level, I give you a TL;DR right away: everything is actually not that difficult, Sting Chameleon is an RNG infested mess as always and the main culprit next to Vile whose jumps are the worst, and D-Rex may as well be called "My Nerves" since that's the only reason I got hit there.

Anyway, the long version of it is that I have already tried recording this level around April, but since at some point, I would always encounter frameskips while playing, I just gave up on the whole thing. In addition, my editing software stopped working at some point, so I had even less motivation to go through with this than before. Lately, I have been experimenting with new editors and got everything, recording hiccups included, under control. I then didn't have any excuse any more to procrastinate, and I started new attempts around two weeks ago.

It all went pretty well and I even got to D-Rex multiple times, only for my nerves to mess up the attempt. The attempt you see here is a sheer miracle; I was way too tired when recording, and everything that could go wrong before this attempt would go wrong. My mindset was to satisfy my conscience by doing one more attempt and get past Sting Chameleon. I didn't even expect to pull the entire thing off, given how slow my reaction time was at that point. Still, I somehow made it, though my heart was racing when I got to D-Rex.

Gameplay-wise, there isn't a whole lot to say. You may notice that I optimized my approach against Sting Chameleon with a few details, and trust me, it was so necessary to cut the battle short. Also, the bastard used the worst spike combinations here - I just happened to be at the right spot all the time. And he FINALLY used his rare laser attack in a full-fledged attempt, so I can rest easy about that now. Aside from him, Vile is the only other real threat here, and it is only due to his jumps which are damn hard for me to read. He can either land right next to you or exactly where you are standing, and since your timing to jump over him to avoid his Cherry Blast is pretty tight, you don't have a lot of leeway and time to position yourself correctly. D-Rex is not that difficult at all once you know you should try to be as close as possible to the lower part when trying to jump between the two parts, but my nerves would usually go haywire at this point. And if you're wondering why I kept missing shots, it was to make sure I wouldn't accidentally charge up a fully charged shot with Zero's upgrade because that would go against the minimalist restriction.

So yeah, we're finally at the en- oh wait, we aren't. There's still one level (if you wanna call it that) left, but it's really just going through the motions. Anyway, I hope some of you can still enjoy this after the long wait.
