This is another one of those titles I came up with in advance. Granted, I only really planned on using it when and if a specific event took place in-game. Needless to say, I'm two-for-two at this point... and it's almost a certainty that the last title I have waiting in the wings will see use before we wrap up SC as well, given its subject matter.

I'm still in awe that I managed to reach Chapter 7 before the end of the month. Weirder still, I think I managed to get through the majority of it in this session. At least, if it goes down the way it seems like it will. I guess once you strip out the sidequests, things move significantly faster. That's not meant to knock on the sidequests themselves, mind you -- I honestly had a lot of fun with them. But all of them are timesinks to at least some extent, even the ones that just involved hunting monsters. Come to think of it, a few of those ended up eating more time than anything else in my playthrough.

I really appreciate the inherent pun in the term "tetracyclic towers", whether or not it was intentional. Like, clearly they were named to sound like they were "earth movers"... but also, there's four of them and "tetra" is one of the many prefixes used to describe that number. I don't know who came up with that or if they intended it, but whether it was a Falcom or XSEED employee, they deserve a massive raise.

I actually managed to beat three of the four tower this time around... and by extension, three of the Enforcers. I just have to wonder if this is the last we'll see of them in SC. After all, SC technically wraps up the Liberl Arc -- The 3rd is more of an epilogue meant to start world building for future arcs -- and it seems like most of the major characters from the Sky games are going to be fading into the background real soon. Granted, I know Estelle and Joshua show up in later games, thanks to various promotional materials. Still, considering the cliffhangers that Walter and Luciola left us off with, I'm beginning to worry that if Falcom doesn't tie up those loose ends by the end of the Sky trilogy, they probably never will.

Unless there's way more to Chapter 7 than it seems, I think I'll easily be able to finish it next time. Then it'll just be one more chapter and the finale before SC is finished. That'll just leave one final game for the Sky trilogy. I think I already made it clear that I plan on playing the rest of the Trails games completely on my own... but I'm not planning to start the Crossbell games until next year. I'm just wondering if I'll be able to catch up before the series is over at this rate. Even if I somehow manage to keep doing 3 mainline games per year -- which seems laughable since they're just going to get longer and longer -- it's going to be some time before I even catch up with the games currently in English. But honestly, I always intended to play the Crossbell games before Cold Steel in the first place... but since the fan translations were available for an incredibly short window, I have to wonder if I still would've ended up waiting for the NISA releases if I'd finished up the Sky games sooner.
