In this video, Back to the Future II, released in 1990 for the Atari ST by Image Works.
Here we are with the tie-in of the lucky Back to the Future series, in this case the second movie of the trilogy. We must assist Marty McFly in his journey into the 2015 in an attempt to stop his son from getting into trouble with the law by making a robbery with Griff, the grandson of Biff (the villain of the first movie).
The game is divided into 5 levels: the first one sees Marty on his overboard trying to escape a gang of punks chasing him. In the second level we got to help Jennifer (marty's girlfriend) avoiding meeting herself in the future. The third level sees us in an alternate 1985 where we have to beat Biff's gang with punches and kicks. The fourth level is a puzzle game where we have to slide square and re-compose the image of Marty playing guitar in 1955. Finally the fifth level sees Marty again on the overboard trying to take from Biff's car the almanac that caused all the troubles Marty had to endure.
Colorful and well designed Back to the Future 2 also sports a good rendition of the movie's main theme and other good chiptunes. The playability is ok even if you have to deal with a high difficulty level due to bad collision detections and bad joystick response.
Here you'll find animated intro with main theme and gameplay of first level.

All footage taken from original hardware machines and upscaled to 1080P.

Let me know what do you think about the video in the comments below but, most important, Enjoy!!!
