In this video, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, released in 1988 for the Atari ST by Buena Vista.
Following the success of the movie, a game with the same name was made for the ST. It's composed of 4 levels each one introduced by static scenes, with comic text, of Baby Herman and Jessica Rabbit.
In the first level, we must drive Benny the Cab to reach the Ink and Paint Club. In the second level we must pick up all the sheets of paper being laid on the tables by the penguin waiters. In the third level we must race against the Toon Patrol to Acme's Gag Factory. Finally in the fourth level we must use various joke items to get past the weasels, stop Doom, and save Roger's wife Jessica.
Graphically the game has good static images with its cartoon-ish style but when we play we have poor colored graphics with sluggish scrolling and low frame rate. The audio is nice but could be better. The playability is ok but, even if it has the difficulty on the easy side of the balance, IMHO it becomes boring and a bit frustrating with its jerky controls.
Here you'll find intro and gameplay.

Fun fact: The game does several long annoying disks accesses but, if like me you use an hard disk, the situation changes radically. The only negative side is that the game and its music freeze for a while. I'm sure you'll notice in that video.

All footage taken from original hardware machines and upscaled to 1080P.

Let me know what do you think about the video in the comments below but, most important, Enjoy!!!
If you liked the video, please consider giving a thumbs up and maybe also subscribe.

Thanks for watching.
