We finally corner our suspects in an old orchard, where Serial Killer X had the time to write invisible messages everywhere with his blood. Or at least I hope it was blood. I mean, it's everywhere, I can't imagine he could have done all that writing with any other bodily fluids by the time we found him. Also our second boss fight, where we play "ring around the rosie" with our target after somehow dropping our really useful taser. Of course they had to take that away from us right as the story approaches the conclusion.

Condemned: Criminal Origins is a 2005 Xbox 360 launch title from F.E.A.R. creators Monolith. Playing the role of Ethan Thomas of the FBI, you investigate a rise in serial killer cases and violent outbursts, which may be connected to the mysterious deaths of local birds in large numbers, all while experiencing visions that let you see a glimpse into the minds and actions of the killers you're chasing. A first person game with an emphasis on careful combat and even more careful resource management, Condemned is perhaps a predecessor to other notable survival horror titles such as the Amnesia series.
