This time we travel through a school hunting down a pair of serial killers, and we even get a bit of help from beyond the grave! Oh, and also a boss in the form of the lunch lady. Boss fights aren't much of a thing in this game, but we get some for the last few stages.

Condemned: Criminal Origins is a 2005 Xbox 360 launch title from F.E.A.R. creators Monolith. Playing the role of Ethan Thomas of the FBI, you investigate a rise in serial killer cases and violent outbursts, which may be connected to the mysterious deaths of local birds in large numbers, all while experiencing visions that let you see a glimpse into the minds and actions of the killers you're chasing. A first person game with an emphasis on careful combat and even more careful resource management, Condemned is perhaps a predecessor to other notable survival horror titles such as the Amnesia series.
