(English below) Bad Toys: The Other Mission es una secuela creada por un fan de Bad Toys, el shooter de Tibo Software lanzado en 1995-1998 (dependiendo de la versión). Su autor me contactó por email para que lo probara, pues ya tengo un gameplay del original en el canal, y me ha gustado bastante, la prueba está en que he jugado la demo entera👍

Es fiel al original (o eso me parece, ya que no jugué al original mucho más de lo que mostré en el canal), pero lo he encontrado más divertido de jugar. Además de un control muy superior, el diseño de niveles me ha parecido muy bueno, aprovechando muy bien lo limitado de la estructura de cuadrícula típica de un motor de estilo Wolfenstein 3D. Además, ha añadido algunos toques de terror para hacer la experiencia más inquietante, y también una historia más trabajada que podemos leer en los numerosos terminales que podemos encontrar a lo largo de los niveles (y que nos sirven también para guardar partida), que van dando sentido a lo que vemos.

Así pues, recomiendo echarle un vistazo al juego, sobre todo si te gustó el original claro, o en general si te gustan estos shooters al más puro estilo Wolfenstein 3D. Bad Toys: The Other Mission puede descargarse de aquí:

De momento solo hay 8 niveles disponibles. El autor ha añadido un sistema de mapa en a última versión, yo aquí juego una anterior que no lo tenía, pero me he podido orientar más o menos bien por lo niveles.

It's faithful to the original (or so it seems to me, as I didn't play the original much more of what I showed on the channel), but I found it more fun to play. In addition to a far superior control, I found the level design to be very good, with a very good use of the limited grid structure typical of a Wolfenstein 3D style engine. In addition, the added touches of terror make the experience more disturbing, and also a more elaborate story that we can read in the numerous terminals that we can find throughout the levels (and that also serve to save the game) make some sense of what we see.
