Gameplay of the first 4 "races" of Carmageddon in its patched version for Voodoo 3DFX cards. Actually, I don't just follow the track, but in all of them I destroy all the opponents, for me it's the most fun way to play this game.

I remember perfectly the commotion that this game caused when it came out in 1997, at least here in Spain, being mentioned in the news and with debates on TV about violence in videogames, even inventing things to discredit the game even more. They didn't realize that they were actually advertising it XD In any case, there were countries where it was censored, transforming pedestrians into zombies or robots, or even banned.

There is no doubt that the game is very beastly, but fortunately it was also very good, and advanced for the time. The physics and damage in the vehicles was something rarely seen at the time (although the physics today look unreal and it seems that you are more on the Moon than on Earth), each scenario was like a small sandbox, and this was well used in the layout of some circuits, and in general, it was a very fun game.

I play it in DOSBox Pure (RetroArch), and it works perfectly in its 3DFX mode, I haven't noticed any bug. The music is on audio tracks and works without problems, but I have turned the volume all the way down to record the video because it is copyrighted music. I use the version included in eXoDOS, which is already patched

The game is currently sold on Steam and GOG, supposedly already prepared to run on current PCs, but it gives me some problems.
