-----------

Playthrough or longplay of The Terminator: Future Shock, a first person action game released by Bethesda Softworks in 1995, being the 4th game they developed based on James Cameron's famous movie franchise.

This game was very ambitious in its time, and had things that in later years we would see as normal, such as:

-Mouse view and aiming.
-Polygonal scenery and enemies (a year before Quake).
-Real-time lighting effects.
-Wide exterior environments and possibility of entering many interiors.
-Vehicle combat
-Objectives to accomplish, beyond reaching the end of the level.
-Quite importance of the history.
etc.

It's a shame that it was released so unpolished and full of bugs (not few times I suffered bugs during the gameplay and I had to restart missions), which together with a misunderstood control and an unfair difficulty (especially in the last levels, a festival of enemies suddenly appearing in front and behind us), caused bad reviews and that it fell into oblivion, when it could have been considered among the greats of the genre.

In any case, it has been interesting to play it, and despite the bugs and the unfairness of the last missions, it has hooked me until the end (although I knew it, I had never played it before this gameplay).

I play it with its sequel, SkyNET, which allowed to play its predecessor at 640x480, twice its original resolution. Apart from that, I use an official patch that increases the drawing distance (besides supposedly fixing crashes, I've suffered them anyway). This is the patch:

The game is recorded at 4K and with high bitrate for maximum quality (no less than 80 GB of video), but unfortunately youtube compresses it a lot. I added the original intro and title screen by editing at the beginning.
