This person disagreed with Balatro being a GOTY nominee and called The Game Awards "The Gay Awards." I mean, yeah. The Game Awards have never been good, but I have always made it a tradition to watch it every year because there are always fun things to make fun of or discuss.

This person wanted Space Marine 2 to be nominated instead of Balatro because Space Marine 2 is a "solid, masculine, 3rd person shooter." What does it being "masculine" have to do with anything? It's a great game, and I do think it deserves more of a GOTY nominee, but I think there are plenty of other nominees that shouldn't have been there, like Silent Hill 2 remake, which is great, but it's nowhere near GOTY territory. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth really overstayed its welcome, although that's my own personal bias. And of course, the Elden Ring DLC really should not have been there.

"Something fishy about Balatro." Nothing is fishy about it. It's a great game and people love it.

Okay, I'm not "woke." I'm not part of the legacy media. The game is good. It's not the next best thing after Mario, but I can play Balatro on my phone. I cannot play Super Mario 3D All Stars except if I have $100 to buy from scalpers or if I sail the seas and have a Switch emulator running.

"Balatro is overrated. Just the wokies' new fad." Boy, you really hate "woke" people, are you? Not everything is a "woke" conspiracy, and I feel like I have to repeat that to everyone who's losing their minds on the net. It can just be a good and fun game that everyone loves to play. That's more than enough, right?
