After returning to Baldurs Gate the Flaming Fist guards are all after you. When they do catch you they will take you to see Angelo who has taken over from the murdered Scar.
Be nice to him or he will kill one of your party members!
There are two ways to get around town. First you could use the sewers. Second you could cast invisibility on your party. I prefer this second tactic when you need to enter the Flaming Fist HQ to rescue the Baron. It’ll avoid a whole load of dead Flaming Fist guards.
Your two main objectives here should be to get to the Black Throne HQ and defeat the enemies on the top floor, the second floor of the Flaming Fist to get the duke and finally the Drunken Mermaid to defeat the two mercenaries in the basement.
Then it’s into the Ducal Palace.
