They may have performed alongside Robbie Williams and in front of the Queen, but the Band of the Irish Guards hasn't forgotten its roots.
They're on a whistle stop tour of Ireland - both north and south of the border.
It's their first tour of the province since 2001 and they've been making up for lost time.
From formal military engagements to charity concerts they're proving popular with the locals.
And it is not just charities that are benefitting from the bands' talents; they have been running master classes for young musicians.
But the end of the tour will spell the end of an era for one popular member of the Battalion -
the Regimental Mascot Irish Wolfhound, Conmell, will retire after 4 years' service.
