Still plenty of Smash Ultimate footage to sort through, but we're nearing the end of my backlog. I haven't been playing as much due to drifting control sticks with my Joy Cons, but I'll be doing my best to get back into Smash soon, especially with Joker around the corner! So until then, here's more Smash with friends...and uh...as the title says, things get preeeeettttty laggy here. I don't know how some people can fight in it, honestly.

You can check out some of my friends on YouTube, namely Unagi and YuuGiJoou.

Match 1: Mario Circuit (MK8)
Dr. Mario (me) vs. Mega Man (YuuGiJoou) vs. Wario (Maidens) vs. Daisy (YK2)

Yeah, for whatever reason, the connection throughout these matches are pretty choppy. I promise it's not the video crapping out on you! Seeing as my friends are all spread out, Maidens most of all in the UK, lag's pretty commonplace but sometimes it gets pretty bad.

At around 1:52 we see this match take a pretty drastic turn. Maidens grabbed a Fairy Bottle and upon being damaged to 100%, he's healed and basically given a new stock so...you can kinda guess how this goes.

Match 2: Kongo Jungle
Greninja (Maidens) vs. Little Mac (me) vs. Zero Suit Samus (YuuGiJoou) vs. Piranha Plant (Lombardi88)

Poor Mac has it rough, so I never expect to do too well with him in free-for-alls, but even so I can't help but feel a bit bullied by Maidens here, what with me being killed early when YuuGiJoou had a stock lead on me and Lombardi. But hey, salty Johns!

Glad to have Gangplank Galleon in here though, one of the more standout songs in the game...except when it's overtaken by the creepy Fatal Frame music! Also, can we talk about how devastating Phosphora was in this? She really laid into us and inflicted quite a bit of damage...not too many places to run away to here.

Match 3: Wrecking Crew
Pit (YuuGiJoou) vs. Chrom (Unagi) vs. Bowser (me) vs. Shulk (Lombardi88)

New to Smash Ultimate are "ladder attacks," wherein players can input any aerial attack while on a ladder and float in place. This ends up looking pretty weird in the case of, say, Bowser's Down Air. So I had fun just being surrounded in a big hitbox for a bit until YuuGiJoou spoiled it :P

As it would turn out, Bowser is hidden by the building when he starts up his Final Smash. That cursor is still plain to see though, but it really adds to the feeling that he's a big kaiju. Certainly not something I'd like to see outside my window!

Now this last match had Ring a Ding playing, a.k.a. one of the best songs in the game. Keep your ears perked up for it again in the next upload...and hopefully that doesn't get me content ID'd :P

Happy Smashing!
