Match 1: Wily Castle
Pokemon Trainer (Unagi) vs. Fox (me) vs. Bowser (YuuGiJoou)
I like this stage a lot...I just wish Yellow Devil wasn't such an omnipresent threat. Even if you KO him he comes back quickly...but hey, he kept Bowser juggled long enough for Scizor to deal some harsh damage for a KO, so I'll take it! Unagi...I don't know what his deal here was. Maybe he was tired...of using Pokemon Trainer! Hah!
Match 2: Castle Siege
Incineroar (me) vs. Mewtwo (Unagi) vs. Marth (YuuGiJoou)
Look at this Pokemon battle! Marth is my favorite Pokemon. Poor Spring Man isn't very effectual here. Kinda slow. I really do wonder if he'd ever be playable in a potential sequel...I kinda feel like ARMS lacks real staying power but I'd love to be surprised! Oh yeah and uh...turns out the Stop Watch can totally mess up the Alolan Whip timing with hilarious results...
Match 3: Find Mii
Mario(YuuGiJoou) vs. Duck Hunt (Unagi) vs. Wolf (me)
Find Mii's a fun stage. I've never seen the left portion fall before, leaving a VERY small amount of space to work with for a time. The speed buff the Dark Lord gave us near the end kinda spelled my doom though....sent me WAY farther off stage than I expected. And we end it with a VERY rare appearance from The Moon, probably the rarest Assist Trophy overall.
Match 4: Pokemon Stadium 2
Ryu (me) vs. Snake (Unagi) vs. Black Knight (YuuGiJoou)
So yeah, upset with my girlish-sounding Black Knight (who is TOTALLY CANON), Jo here decided to use her own. Now, the REAL interesting moment to me here is...Shin Shoryuken CAN hit multiple targets...but apparently only that initial hit, and the rest of the attack went back to my primary target. I almost got a double!
Just a few more replays to catch up on before VERSION 3.0 in a month or so! Joke's almost on us! Happy Smashing!
