Need for Speed Most Wanted (2005) (stylized as NFS MW) is a racing game developed by EA Canada & EA Black Box and published by Electronic Arts.
The game is set in the fictional city of Rockport, which is divided into 3 major districts: Rosewood, Camden Beach and Downtown Rockport (they also become accessible in this order).
While the game doesn't have a difficulty setting, it has some pretty tough rubber-banding in favor of the A.I. (the further one player is, the easier it is for the one in the back to get back to the front).
We play as an unnamed protagonist who came to the city to make a name for themselves, but when racing against Razor, the then #15 on the blacklist, something went wrong with our car which resulted in us losing and Razor taking our car as a prize, after which we got arrested. When we are let go by the police (because it's hard to convict someone for street racing when they don't have a car) we learn that Razor has become #1 by using our car...time to take back what is ours and show him it's not the car, but driver in it that matters most.
