Battle On The Big Bridge 8 Bit Remix - Final Fantasy V
im only like an hour in to ffv lol so i don't really have much to say about it as a game.
big fan of the final fantasy series. ff1 was my first introduction to the concept of role playing games when i first played it at like four or five years old. i didn't know what i was suposed to be doing so i just wandered around the starting area and fought goblins or whatever for hours and hours. it was only a few years ago that i went and beat the whole thing. good game and a great start to the series.
i haven't played any of the modern mmo ff games because i generally don't like mmos. the only one that i've sunk some time into is old school runescape. osrs is fun. been workin on firemaking and woodcutting recently after neglecting it for a long time in favor of the skills that i thought might be "useful" like magic and strength or whatever. the feeling of firemaking at the end of a long day is a unique kind of comfy.
kinda got sidetracked i dunno why i started talking about runescape but ill leave it in here.
if you're wondering why this is slightly slower than the actual version it wasn't a creative choice it was actually because jummbox cant go past 320 bpm. yes i know that the song is played at ~175, but with the way that jummbox works, making a song at ~175 bpm feels incredible slow and sluggish (see my okkusenman video, twas done at 180.) most of my videos are made at double the bpm of the original simply to make the transcribing experience feel more fluid to me. for example, the theme from myth from last week is played at ~125 bpm, but i doubled it, making it 250 bpm while transcribing and remixing and what have you. 175 doubled is 350, leaving me with a dilemma while making this. turned out alright, i suppose.
also didn't include the 6/4 part at the start because i didn't feel like it.
