95why the fuck didn't anyone ever tell me that getter wasn't created by go nagai?????????? i've only seen the original anime and assumed it was just another nagai super robot series like the various mazinger series but i found out a few days ago that nagai was just the co-creator. i didn't really like the original getter robo anime but i intend to maybe check out the spinoffs eventually. i am a big super robot fan, though. mazinger z, great mazinger, and mazinkaiser are really cool. sure, i could have done the themes for any of those (especially fire wars from kaiser because just like every other song sung by hironobu kageyama it is incredible) but i heard this song last week for the first time and decided that this would be the video of the week.
because of the fact that i haven't seen shin getter and don't really feel like talking much about anime today, as well as the fact that i know you boys love your descriptions, let me tell you about what i made for dinner last night because it was fucking great. you ever buy that mashed potato powder that comes in boxes that you have to add milk and butter to in order to bring em to life? i tried that shit for the first time last night and without any fancy additions it was perfectly acceptable. not great, but not disgusting either. yeah, de-hydrated mashed taters is probably the peak of g0yslop, but since the deepest bit of eggo76 lore (besides that time i sang i minecraft parody at my church in 2011 or 2012 i don't remember anymore) is that i am a fucking awesome chef, i figured i should let you in on a little mashed taters tip.
one of my favorite things to do when making potatoes of any kind is the following:
- dice one onion in to really small bits
- set half of it to the side and cook the other half in a pan while taters are going
- once cooked to your liking mix in the cooked onions with the raw onions, then add seasonings
- papa eggo reccomends thyme and parsley with a very, very small amount of salt
you mix that shit in with even the most cheap and lame mashed potatoes and you have a straight up gourmet meal on your hands. also season the taters after cooking as to not remove the moisture while cooking. i reccomend paprika and light salt. i see people season before cooking with scrambled eggs too but that is for another day. look forward to the next time i have no description ideas so that i can give you more cooking tips.
