Battlefield 2042 Portal Rules Editor Tutorial Pt2 - Build your first game mode (One in the Chamber)
So here is Part 2 of my very first Battlefield 2042 Portal Tutorial. This second part covers the rules editor and will introduce you gently to a range of basic rules you can use in your custom games. Along the way you will build a full game mode of your own and learn in a practical way, how the rules editor works and how basic commands are structured.

As a teacher, and a very old gamer who grew up programming my ZX Spectrum with program listings in Crash magazine (sorry if you aren't old enough to remember, it was cutting edge at the time :) ), I know that actually building something for yourself can often lead to learning more than if learning is just done via little snippets of info.
I will be producing mini guides covering all aspects of the rules editor over time and the different commands as well as showing how they can be used practically in game. I will also be producing more of these full guides when I get the inspiration for a new mode (happy to take suggestions!).
I really hope you like this tutorial. I am just an amateur, still trying to get to grips with video editing and especially audio (my set up is VERY poor) but I think for a first full attempt this is ok.
