Battlefield V and EA's Withheld Access Model
Another year another attempt by EA to perform a walletectomy on gamers. This time they are holding back the release of the game Battlefield V in order to try to induce gamers to buy into their online "service" known as Origin Access. Now, EA can do what they want with their games but if I was someone who'd pre-ordered this game I would not be at all happy at getting it later than someone who was subbed to Origin Access. Not to mention the fact that this breaks up the player base and gives Origin Access Subscribers an advantage.
Will EA ever stop trying to exploit its customers?
