Ever since Fortnite Cross Play has been made available on the PS4, I've been trying to set it up on my son's Xbox account so he could play with his friends on the PS4. However, in the process of looking into this, I discovered something: Fortnite Cross Play simply doesn't work for Child Accounts on the Xbox. Currently there is not way around that restriction. That means that Microsoft, the company championing Cross Play, owns the only platform where Cross Play doesn't currently work properly. Oh the irony.
