As you might recall with Bayo 1, I covered Hard Mode there, but never Nonstop Infinite Climax. However, with Bayo 2 largely being FAR more merciful, I can at least show it off now!

3rd Climax is this game's Hard and honestly...it's not THAT bad. Enemies do more damage and might be a bit more aggressive, but the leap from 2nd Climax to 3rd is not nearly as big as the leap from Bayo 1's Normal to Hard.

I was ignorant of just what happened with Nonstop Infinite Climax in Bayo 1, but apparently it was just like Hard, but Witch Time was disabled just about entirely. Due to changes to Witch Time and certain enemies really requiring Witch Time to even get at them while they are vulnerable, Witch Time is still in-tact for Infinite Climax here. Infinite Climax for Bayo 2 functions more like a Hard Mode than 3rd Climax, as it finally remixes enemies and amps up their damage and aggression. Umbran Climax won't make certain enemies flinch anymore, as you might see here...and yeah, it's a challenge! Not insurmountable but...

Starting with where things really kicked off, the Prologue is QUITE challenging on Infinite Climax! How can this plan fit an Urbane on top?! Not to mention the other more advanced enemies popping up so early...

Belief isn't TOO bad, all things considered, and while I came close to dying against Gomorrah, it seems bosses that are one huge target are far more managable. That said....thank God I had the Star of Dineta equipped! Need that sliver of health!

The Cathedral of Cascades seemed like a nice stop too, while we're here. Fighting quite a few more Fidelities underwater is honestly more annoying than hard...but still, you can see the game bare it's fangs a bit more...Muspelheims also get remixed enemies here, and I'm sure the TRUE elites don't consider the portals beaten until they tackle them on this difficulty. Now, fighting Gravitas AND Urbane at once is too much so...yeah, Witch Hunts are Over.

I really just liked how that transition from death to the Hell verses looked, so I did it even IF I would show off the Chapter screen before cutting to it. In hindsight...I probably should have shown off a few more Chapters and not shown so much of Cathedral of Cascades...

Pain is just gonna be lumped in with regular enemies now, huh? Yeeeesh. No thank you!

And then, since I REALLY didn't want to play that shooting section again before showing off Infinite Climax Aesir, here's Balder instead. Really, it's a bookend to my Hard Mode video for Bayo 1. He uses his Glaive a LOT more and really, REALLY knows how to pin me down. Really, THIS is the fight I wanted for his final bout...even IF it is a little intense!

So yes, hope you enjoyed the game finally bending me over its knee. My next Bonus Video will be all about a particular Easter Egg should you wear the costume of a certain pilot...

See you then!
