Bayonetta 2 | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary
45My urge for Hack 'n Slash games has not gone down yet and thus I wanted to play, record and archive more games in that genre. I completed Bayonetta 1 and so it only made sense for me to play the sequel as well. After having completed the game I can wholeheartedly say that Bayonetta 2 is perfection. It improves on every aspect compared to the first game and offers an experience unlike any other.
We play once again as the amazing Bayonetta who looks her best in this version with her short hair. The stages are all beautiful, varied and colorful and the increase in saturation makes the overal tone of the game feel so much more warm and vibrant. The enemies themselves are also even better designed than in the first game with more color and detail. There is also much more to do and see in the stages themselves with fun puzzles to solve, cool places to explore and secrets to find. The tempo is great and evey time I had to stop playing I kinda wanted to pick it up again as soon as possible and continue my journey.
The secret challenges themselves are also more fun and engaging compared to the first game and the added extras of Nintendo outfits with visual overhauls is great. The only thing I probably dislike in Bayonetta 2 is the character Loki who is quite annoying the entire way through. Other than that Bayonetta 2 blew me away and I know I will replay this adventure many more times in the future.
I don't know when I will be playing Bayonetta 3 as I heard that game is actually quite a step back from Bayonetta 1 and 2, so maybe for the time being I will swith over to Bayonetta's older brother Devil May Cry.
