Bayonetta 3: Records of Time - Phenomenal Affirmation
After long distances between news, a shift in director and controversies with a certain voice actress, Bayonetta 3 finally comes out!
And compared to Bayonetta 2, this one feels like a much bigger shake-up for the series than anything before it!
----------
As it has likely been told already at this point, the Bayonetta universe is actually a multiverse, each with their own stories to tell of the witch with the Wicked Weaves.
In one of these universes, Bayonetta, in her look from the first game, was actually fighting a desperate, losing battle against a powerful new kind of foe.
During this, a monologue of a younger lady was pondering the vast depths of the multiverse...
----------
Try as she might, this Bayonetta was no match for this enemy. He was able to hurt her so badly that she started bleeding. Even despite this, Bayonetta continued to fight back, even when she could barely stand up anymore.
Eventually, the being decided it was time for him to finish off the Witch. Two of her allies, Viola and Sigurd, were witnessing this tragedy before their very eyes.
Bayonetta... was killed...
In an effort to somehow reverse this, Sigurd gave Viola a mystical world bridge that will let her travel to a different universe to locate that one's own Bayonetta. Before this one was slain, Bayonetta parted to Viola some of her magic.
When Sigurd tried to fight back, he had suffered the same fate.
A furious Viola prepared her world bridge, allowing her to escape just before this monster could take her life, as well, but she swore revenge.
And that's how the story of Bayonetta 3 begins...
